Keep it in the family

Sometimes a home can sit on the market for over a year without a single offer.  Then, a Real Estate angel can come in with a stager and the home can be under contract within two days of being listed.  

BEFORE

This condo in Camarillo, California had been left to the kids when the mom passed away.  They put it on the market as-is and crossed their fingers for a hit. It never came. They moved the mom’s furniture around into different positions in different rooms … still no hit.  It was over a year on the market with NO activity when Mary Gregoryk came in and brought us with her.

We staged this home using all of our own inventory - which pushed the grandma’s antique pieces to the garage.  There are some times where a rad vintage piece makes sense, but this was not one of those times. There is also a time where bright silver angel-covered wallcovering works in a Master Bathroom … again, this was not one of those times.  The walls were painted and ice-cubes were placed in the 30 year old furniture marks and our furniture was brought in. And an offer was accepted within 48 hours of our delivery truck pulling away.
